Beethoven Violin Concerto

About this performance

Australian composer Maria Grenfell’s River Mountain Sky celebrates a Tasmania’s landscape of rivers and mountains over the course of a day – orange and pink skies at dawn and dusk, bright sunshine bouncing off rushing water and quiet, clear, dark nights under a tapestry of stars.

Rising star María Dueñas has performed as a soloist with top orchestras in Europe and America, and has been named one of the BBC’s New Generation Artists. Here she performs Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with her trademark passionate virtuosity and commanding stage presence.

Duration: approx. 1 hour, no interval
